About Us

About Tennis Upper Cumberland

Tennis Upper Cumberland was launched in September 2020 to better serve the needs of our growing tennis community and to provide increased visibility and networking opportunities for the region. Our sponsor is The Upper Cumberland Community Tennis Association (UCCTA). Founded in 2013, the UCCTA is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization lead by an active, all-volunteer Board of Directors and Advisors and headquartered in Cookeville, Tennessee (Putnam County). We are proud to be a USTA Community Tennis Association and an affiliate of USTA-Southern and USTA-Tennessee. The eleven counties we serve are Bledsoe, Clay, Cumberland, Fentress, Jackson, Overton, Pickett, Putnam, Van Buren, Warren, and White. Our goal is to partner with individuals, groups, and businesses to strengthen existing tennis programs and to create new opportunities for youth, adults, and developmentally challenged individuals.

Our Mission

To promote and develop the love of tennis as part of a healthy lifestyle by providing programs and events for all youth and adults in the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee
